Privacy policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Paint by Numbers processes your images in your browser. This policy explains local project storage and the separate network services used to deliver the site, measure usage, and support home-page advertising.
Your images and saved projects
The app reads and processes selected images on your device; it does not upload your images or project files to our server or attach them to analytics or advertising requests. Image processing, editing, and exports run locally.
When you remember a project, the app saves the source image, settings, generated template, and recent undo history in this browser's IndexedDB. You can stop new saves with "Remember this project on this device" and remove the saved copy with "Delete saved project" on the home page. Clearing this site's browser data also removes local storage. Downloaded exports and backups remain wherever you saved them. The app also stores preferences, such as your display theme, locally.
Site delivery and usage analytics
Loading the site, its files, and web fonts makes network requests. The services handling those requests receive connection information such as your IP address and browser headers.
When Google Analytics is enabled, it measures page views and actions such as image selection, generation, exports, and affiliate-link clicks. Google may receive browser and device information and use cookies or similar storage. The app does not include your images in analytics events. Learn more about Google's use of information from partner sites and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Home-page advertising
The home page may display Google AdSense ads when advertising is enabled. Ad placements are removed when you begin opening an image or saved project; the creator has no ad placements. Removing a placement does not erase advertising cookies or unload scripts already executed during the visit.
Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies to select ads based on earlier visits to this site and other websites. Google and its partners may use those cookies and device information to personalize, deliver, and measure advertising. Other participating ad networks may also use cookies. See Google's advertising information; the consent message, where presented, identifies participating advertising partners and their policies.
Your advertising and cookie choices
You can manage Google's personalized advertising in My Ad Center and opt out of participating third-party personalized advertising through YourAdChoices. These choices do not necessarily remove ads. Where a consent message is presented, use it to accept, decline, or manage the available purposes and partners.
Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies and site data. Clearing site data may remove your saved project and preferences as well as consent choices, so download a project backup first if you want to keep it.
Affiliate links and other websites
Paint-set links may be Amazon affiliate links, and we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. Following a link opens another website, whose privacy policy applies there. The app does not send your image with these links.
